If anybody was Mr. Jazz it was Louis Armstrong. He was the epitome of jazz and always will be. He is what I call an American standard, an American original.
Jazz to me is a living music. It’s a music that since its beginning has expressed the feelings, the dreams and hopes of the people.
One thing I like about jazz is that it emphasized doing things differently from what other people were doing.
